Any special qualifications/achievements that you are proud of?

What was your first job?
Working in the family business, I'm not going in to specifics.

What would be your dream job?
I'd be a successful fighter in the UFC, with a lucrative acting contract on the side to star in Bollywood films.

How did you get started in radio?
I was invited to join a current affairs debate show on BBC Radio Newcastle as a panellist, and then the opportunity arose to present an Asian Urban music show so I made a demo and jumped at the chance! I took it from being a one hour show on Sunday afternoons to being a 3 hour pumping primetime beast on Wednesday nights.

Best on-air moment?

Worse on-air moment? (Embarrassing or otherwise)
Lots of them, getting tongue tied and forgetting how to communicate verbally in the middle of numerous 'great' links!

Busy

What's your ambition?
To be a success in everything I do.

Do you have any special hobbies and interests?
Love playing football and listening to all genres of music.

Who would you like to be stuck in a lift with and why?
Alka Yagnik or Udit Narayan so that they could sing to me whilst the lift was being repaired, I could perhaps beat box to help them along.

What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start a career in radio?
Watch Howard Stern's film 'Private Parts' don't know if it'll help but it's a good laugh and provides an insight to the industry, sort of. On a serious note it's very competitive so put some effort in to producing a quality demo to get noticed and volunteer for RSL's / community stations to get experience.
