What's your earliest memory?
Causing a breakage of my dad's turntable is most likely my earliest memory based upon his angered reaction immediately afterwards. I believe it was a sign suggesting I become a professional dj... lol

Favourite place in the world?
Glasgow. My birthplace and my breeding ground as a DJ

Which song can you listen to over and over again?
Without a doubt, Desi Jatt. This song never gets repetitive

Any special qualifications/achievements that you are proud of?
During my period at University, I achieved an MSc in Business Information Technology systems. As every Asian youngster knows, gain a degree and you’ll forever be seen as the ‘golden boy’ amongst your parents

What was your first job?
I was employed as a shop assistant in a local store

What would be your dream job?
Disregard dream, I am currently living my vision as a professional DJ

How did you get started in radio?
During 2003, I was approached by local Glasgow station Awaz FM after my DJ credentials were duly noted. From there on I continually propelled myself and developed my 'on-air' skills.

Best on-air moment?
Performing live from a nightclub which was broadcasted directly on air.

Worst on-air moment? (Embarrassing or otherwise)
Most probably my first ever show. Everything went wrong!

Describe a typical working day?
A typical day for me would most likely involve an early rise, social networking involvement including bebo & facebook as well as hotmail followed by a shower to kick start my day. Whatever tasks need my attention such as radio, studio work or a gig performance would then be taken care of with another seesion of bebo, facebook and myspace. Lastly, my bed and 40 winks would be greatly required

What's your ambition?
My essential goal is to perform as a international tour DJ

Best advice that you've been given and why?
"There's no such thing as tomorrow" – so true, if you are going to do something, now is the time...

Do you have any special hobbies and interests?
From the age of 14, Djing has been my sole hobby. Without, my life would be pointless and very boring...

Who would you like to be stuck in a lift with and why?
Eva Mendez..Why? I think that’s self explanatory...

What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start a career in radio?
In the past, to many people have done things for fame in the media game, If you want to be a radio presenter, make sure its because you have a passion for it and when you have passion, you wont need advise of anyone to progress in a career as a radio presenter... Your passion will drive you forward itself.
