What's your earliest memory?
I was sat in the middle of Hamley's crying my eyes out - all because I wasn't allowed to have all the toys in the store.

Assisting at Top of the Pops, BBC

Acting in theatre

How did you get started in radio?
It all started as work experience at East FM radio station in Kenya

Worse on-air moment? (Embarrassing or otherwise)
Instead of introducing Eve's song as Let me blow your mind, I said - Let me blow you. Like that wasn't bad enough….I ended up sticking on the dirty version of the song!

What's your ambition?
To go back to Kenya and do something to help the less fortunate

Best advice that you've been given and why?
Be the change you want to see in the world. It's easy to talk about change, but actually making the change is what really counts.

Do you have any special hobbies and interests?
I love going to the theatre and doing outdoorsy things like trekking and paragliding.

Who would you like to be stuck in a lift with and why?
Matt Damon…why not?

What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start a career in radio?
It's a difficult industry to get into, but once you're in there…its exciting, its spontaneous and most of all, you will definitely enjoy it!
