Any special qualifications/achievements that you are proud of?
Erm young writer of the year in scotland in 98 – that one made mum happy, staying number 1 for seven weeks in the UK with my Debut album and being nominated at the ETC Alpha Punjabi awards for best NRI Music Director in 2008.

What was your first job?
Paper round for the family business, I hated Sundays, Sunday Times with there 300 inserts.

What would be your dream job?
My brothers boss, he so kicked my ass when I was younger lol

How did you get started in radio?
Started own show in 2002 on Scotlands only Asian Radio Station every Friday nights, think I emailed them.

Best on-air moment?
Sitting opposite my hero Kuldeep Manak live while interviewing him.

Worst on-air moment? (Embarrassing or otherwise)
Swearing on my first ever show and following up with another swear word because I let the first one out.

Describe a typical working day?
Waking up when my eyes open, watching the news, buying the national press, reading the latest news, starting show at 4, followed by 3 hours of addrenalin rush and madness, then to some food outlet depending on my mood, then home to watch the football... or eastenders... depending on the mood... lol

What's your ambition?
To make my parents n family proud.

Best advice that you've been given and why?
Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail!!!

Do you have any special hobbies and interests?
Football, PS3, Producing music, drinking Desi Jatt and err did I mention Football.

Who would you like to be stuck in a lift with and why?
No one, im crostapobic…hope that's spelt right.

What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start a career in radio?
You can do anything you want, you just need to be bold enough to go and get it.
